Client Testimonials
"I was worried that my daughter is not herself-she was confident and joyful young lady all of a sudden changing getting furious and irritated every little bit without her real intentions and then coming back feeling sorry and guilty about her behaviour. It was difficult to discuss anything with her because of the present mindset-I knew she had work to finish for school and she is burdened with the expectations. K said she liked Youth coach Liz and she can share her concerns with her-K was not motivated to do her school work, Youth coach Liz held the space for her which prevented to get in deep darkness . Eventually, as school started back and K got into a work and better sleep routine and rhythm. At this time something changed and she had focus and speed to complete her work. We all now can see she is doing well and will reach her potential to find her best university. Thank you Youth coach Liz for all your help. I am ever so grateful"
Mum of K and K (17 and 18 years old)
"Youth coach Liz worked with my 16 year old son to help him with friendships and anxiety issues. He is a completely different child who now thinks before he speaks and listens to others and does not always focus on the negative but now looks at the positives within a situation. Since working with Youth coach Liz his friendships have grown and he has become a lot more confident. Best money spent on investing to help my son"
Mum of A (16 years old)
"I think X was in a bit of a cloud coming out of lockdowns, etc ... and feeling really overwhelmed with the amount of school work she had outstanding and it was evident after speaking with yourself that she felt relieved and lighter .... she moved on to be able to make decisions as regards to her A-levels , doing her university application, planning for her summer , getting a new job ...so thankyou for giving her the nudge / focus necessary . Apart from her sleeping pattern (not quite sorted ), it feels like she has found her pre-pandemic happy self again!"
Mum and M ( 17 years old)
"My daughter worked withYouth coach Liz as she was struggling with friendship issues and a poor sleep pattern. The sessions with Youth coach Liz were very valuable for her to find ways of managing the issues she had, she appears to be coping much better at school and is more able to articulate her emotions and able to be calmer in stressful situations . Thank you Youth coach Liz."
Mum of E
"My son worked with Youth coach Liz to help him with self confidence and to help him manage his emotions. In the early sessions he was more guarded. Over the period Youth coach Liz worked with him, he became noticeably more willing to open up and talk more during the sessions. The sessions have really helped him think about how he can respond to stressful and emotional situations and he has seemed to develop a more mature attitude"
Mum of D ( 13 years old)
"Youth coach Liz helped me think up some very useful ideas to help me with my mental health. I have really appreciated her help. It was really good to talk to someone who seemed to understand what I was going through"

Questions You May Have
What does being trauma informed as a youth coach mean when working with my child?
Trauma-informed coaching is an empathetic and understanding approach that acknowledges the profound impact of trauma on individuals. By integrating awareness of trauma into my coaching practices, I create a safe, supportive space for healing and personal development. This approach is designed to empower and uplift, ensuring that every interaction is considerate of past experiences and focused on fostering resilience and growth.
What is solution focused coaching?
Solution-focused coaching for teenagers/young adults and parents of teenagers is a dynamic and empowering approach that concentrates on harnessing existing strengths to achieve personal goals. By focusing on solutions rather than problems, this coaching style encourages young people and their parents to envision their ideal future and take practical steps towards making it a reality. It's about fostering confidence, resilience, and proactive problem-solving skills, enabling young people and their parents to navigate challenges and thrive.
What are the benefits of working with a specialist youth coach not a generalist?
A specialist coach is an expert in their field, offering tailored support to meet specific needs and challenges. With in-depth knowledge and specialised training, I provide focused coaching designed to achieve targeted outcomes. Whether it's navigating complex situations or reaching specific goals, a specialist coach brings expertise and precision to the coaching process ensuring effective and impactful results.
